Dr Ronan Walsh M.B.B.S, B.A (Hons) is a Clinical Research Fellow in Electrophysiology currently working under Professor Jonathan Lyne. He graduated from the University of Limerick, Graduate Entry Medical School in 2019. Prior to this he achieved an honours Bachelors of Arts in History from University College Dublin, specialising in 19th century and early 20th century medical history.
‘My current research is into a relatively new pacemaker insertion method, left bundle branch pacing. This new modality in pacemaker lead insertion has gained considerable notoriety in the international community. It offers the possibility of delivering improved patient outcomes with regards to pacing’.
