We remain compliant with health and safety regulations to mitigate risks associated with delivering non-COVID care during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
COVID-19 CLINIC ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
Your Clinic Appointment Preparation Checklist
You must complete a COVID-19 Pre-Clinic Attendance Questionnaire form online prior to attending a scheduled SSHI onsite clinic appointment. SSHI will contact you to arrange attendance date and time.
Please ensure you arrive at your appointment time, not before hand.
Please comply with current public health and safety regulations and ensure you attend clinic consultations alone and adhere to social distancing. Virtual clinics are in operation and can be organised to facilitate individual needs.
If you are feeling unwell, suffering from a high temperature or a cough, please reschedule your appointment.
Your Clinic Appointment
SSHI will provide hand sanitiser to promote regular hand washing. Please use the hand gel provided to sanitise your hands when entering and exiting the clinic.
Appropriate wearing of face masks is required when attending clinic appointments. SSHI can provide face masks if required and promotes safe use of masks during scheduled clinic appointments.
Some Additional Safety Measures
A mobile Ultra Violet Room Steriliser is in operation at SSHI clinic locations as an extra precaution on top of a deep clean for disinfection of air and surfaces.
Social distancing measures.
All staff members will be wearing appropriate PPE.
If you have had exposure to a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 14 days or have symptoms of the virus you should do the following:
- Do not attend onsite scheduled clinic appointments, we can arrange a remote virtual clinic appointment as an alternative or postpone and reschedule the appointment to a later date.
- Follow HSE advice on the HSE website.
- Phone your GP.
- If unsure of current public health guidelines call HSELive on 1850 24 1850.
Diagnostic Test Centre COVID-19 Guidelines
For diagnostic tests, COVID-19 public health policies in accordance with individual diagnostic centres and hospital practices will apply.
